Fleet Racing

ELSC offers an active summer fleet racing series for members, held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The program includes regular fleet racing along with special member holiday regattas. Season awards are presented at the annual Awards Night in October.

Junior sailors are also a key part of the ELSC community. During the sailing season, the club offers an Optimist and Laser Junior Sailing camp and Wednesday evening class, featuring water safety instruction, sailing fundamentals, hands-on on-water practice and an end of season regatta.

ELSC is a proud member of the US Sailing organization. All races are governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of US Sailing, each fleet’s class rules, and ELSC fleet rules, except as modified by the ELSC Sailing Instructions.
